HOW GLOBALIZATION SHORT-CHANGED THE LOCAL ENTERPRISES LONG BEFORE IT IS KNOWN AS GLOBALIZATION?

INSTRUCTION TO VIDA:

Prepare which and what duties or tasks to give to Et2 and perhaps Danika and to Coycoy and Caycay so they will be ready if we spend 3 days in Loon, semi-retirement but at the same time training and empowering the kids.

Duties in sales, marketing, accounting, inventory, auditing, quality and cleanliness check, purchasing/ kompra, etc.

I do not want the misfortune of others in Loon and all over Philippines to happen to the family enterprise that we worked hard to found and operate, namely: BANKRUPTCY BECAUSE ITS PROFITS AND EVEN CAPITAL WERE EATEN UP BY COLLEGE EDUCATION, THEN, THE GRADUATED KIDS DID NOT REPAY EITHER BY THEIR SERVICE OR IN CASH.

***

The treacherous corporations stole our children from us. They took away their time, services, and skills. Look where are our young children are working and who they are working for? Is it not the big corporations that only use up and consume their prime time and then junk them when they are old and useless?

And because both our family enterprise has been extorted of the crucial profit as well as capital that went to the coffer of colleges and universities, and because, after the kids graduated, they never had the gratitude to repay the family enterprise, and because the family enterprise eventually lost the young successors, the family enterprise eventually went bankrupt.

That's the wicked system… the cruelty of lies and deceptive tactics which include education.

It also includes the church or religion.

Also the government.

We lost the Philippines as source of our land and farm... we are now landless, less land, or even land zero, in our own country.

All because of all these wicked tactics by some foreigners against fellowmen.

They abused our hospitality and kindness.

So back to family enterprise.

Virtually all small family, barangay-based tailorings and dry goods of Loonanons were swept like by a big broom called college education.

Instead of succeeding their old parents as entrepreneurs and businessmen, they had reduced themselves into modern serfs. That is who employees are. Serfs. Slaves.

Even if bakery will not the ultimate or final business of the kids, we are to use the bakery as their training ground, actual schooling.

So, I have already briefed them. And I have already told them to shift their mind challenge from minecraft or LM to actual business.

So I expect their computer game time will reduce or even disappear as they are introduced more and more to the real fight and adventure of life.

So, it is now your move: Delegate to them which tasks they can do.

God bless.

The government, the DepEd, the companies et al have long been stealing the children, our money, our business… in a very cunning way.  As proof of gratitude, children should have succeeded in their parents’ enterprise even if they have other pursuits/ talents to pursue.

Succeeding their parents in the family means infusing young blood, new energy, even new ideas… which will make the family enterprise more profitable and thus give the kids more time and money  and tools to develop whatever talents they have and still need to develop before these talents turn into a new wealth-maker.

On the other hand, being employed by companies who exhaust the children of their time, there is no quality time left, nor enough money, for them to focus to develop their talents. No way.

That’s the sorry state of our families, our family enterprises throughout the Philippines and with our kids whose talents are thus killed before they can flourish!

***

I do not want to happen to us the same fate that befell on countless of family enterprises in the Philippines.

***

So kindly be forewarned of the already known and repeated consequences if you also and again take for granted the wisdom that I have just expressed to you in this note.

***

To be frank and honest, who is the one who should benefit the most of our children’s time, prime years, skills, talent, services? The companies or our own family enterprise, then, us the old parents who will feel lightened up if there are young energy helping us operate the family enterprise and, this is more important, they the children themselves.

Question:

In the present arrangement, where our kids are hired by big corporations, who got rich, our family enterprise or their company?

Who got rich: the company or us, the parents?

Who got rich: the company or our children by their salaries?

You will find out that everyone in our side: family enterprise, we the parents and our children they hired… end up impoverished and the kids used up after 10 years of serving the corporation!

And here another misfortune: granted the kids or one of them become highly paid for being promoted to the position of a manager, now, do you see, have you noticed, that as your company sell its processed products to the villages and your parents ate and drink them, that they will more quickly get sick and so the big salary the company paid you will soon or immediately go back to them (your boss) via their pharmaceutical medicine?

Ridiculous, but true. This is real. We are just being fooled by the system.
